 New Shaman application from Aurok-Approved Application:Name:Class:Level:Race:Name, level, class, spec and race of your character...- Name: Aurok

Class: Shaman
Spec: Enhancement
Race: Draenei
Age?What is your current time played at your level? Raiding times are Tuesday and Thursday 8-11 and Sunday from 7-11. Is there a conflict that prevents you from showing up at those time and staying for the duration?- Being a college student I will occasionally have to do a paper or study all night, but I don't have many papers to do.

What do you use for a rotation to maximize the benefits of your current spec?- Stormstrike, earthshock, lavalash, maelstrom/lightningbolt. Use whichever is off cool-down with Maelstrom as the priority.
Do you have a problem respecing if needed? If so what other spec do you have a enough skill to raid in?- I have experience in raiding with all three specs. Enh and Resto being my comfort zone.
Do you have a mic and vent? We require the use of Deadly Boss Mods and Omen. What other addons do you use, and why does it make you a better raider for your class?- Shock and Awe because of my colorblindness, Outfitter, Grid, and Decursive. Outfitter to switch gearsets fast and easily. Grid to help heal, and Decursive to decurse when needed.
What are your current professions? What do you need to maximize your skill level to complement your raiding. - 450 Mining and Jewel-crafting. I also have max cooking and can supply fish feasts.
Are you interested in a leadership role in Manus Domini. If yes, What would you do to show the leadership that you are capable of filling that role. - I am interested in a leadership position, however, it is not essential that i have one. I was a raid leader in two of my previous guilds, Absolution and Deliverance and led raids 2-3 nights a week.
What physical attributes benefit your spec the most? IE Spirit,Strength etc, Please give a detailed explanation of your answer.- Agility, Strength and Intel all give 1 AP per point. Agility is beneficial for melee crit rating, Intellect is beneficial for spell crit rating as well as 15 mana per point.
What was the last guild you were in? Explain why you are leaving or have left.- Absolution. The guild fell apart after several leaders began playing Aion. I was among these leaders, however have found out that Aion isnt the right game for me.
Describe your raiding experience? - I have been raiding on a shaman since Vanilla WoW. In Vanilla, I have gotten all the way to the second boss in BWL. In BC, I raided all the way up to Solarian in TK. As far as WotLK goes, i have been through all of the raids except GToC
What are some links of websites you have used to gather information about your class or raid encounters?What about Manus make you want to join?- I want a successful guild who will be doing hard-modes and not just bare minimum like my past guilds.
Raiding at the forefront requires the proper gemming and enchanting of your gear. Please explain your major gem choices and enchants. - Attack power and Expertise are essential to enhancement shaman gemming. Max expertise is priority then rest are AP or AP/Crit gems.
Enchants: Berserking on weps. Arcanum of Torment on helm. Greater Inscription of the Axe on shoulders. Powerful Stats on chest. Major Agility on cloak. Greater Assault on bracers. Crusher on gloves, and Ice scale Leg Armor on legs.
What skills do you feel that you need to improve on to make you a better raider.- I feel as if i need to experience the difficult aspects of the Maly speed fight, Sarth 3D, and Ulduar Hardmodes.
After reviewing our policies, etc. do you have any questions for us? (You did review the policies, didn't you?)What does Manus Domini mean?

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok like his spec, might actually change mine to that once i get the t9 4piece set bonus.
good gear the only issue that i have is that he is below hit rating, that can be fixed by gemming
talked to him in game, liked his attitude and willing to explain things,
i vote for an invite

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok Very good dps enhance Shammy. Was in the same guild and he has knowlege of his class and spec. Plus he knows all fights in TOC. And he is a good raider, responds quickly and not a idiot.

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok This guy knows his stuff. Amazing raider, takes things seriously, leads raids competently. He pretty much ran all of the Absolution raids. I very much approve.

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok I have been contemplating for quite some time now on whether or not i should drop mining, my only problem is that for future expansions it will be more expensive and more difficult to level jewelcrafting while leveling to the next cap. Chances are that i will drop it today and pick up enchanting, seems to me the best option.

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok Have you found Shock and Awe useful? I've been running with blizz's colorblind option (I am R/G) and its helped a bit but any extra advantage would be useful.

Re: New Shaman application from Aurok My colorblindness is pretty bad. I cant see purple for starters, lol. Anyhow, shockandawe helps me because instead of looking up at my buffs or looking in a jumble of words coming from combat text, shockandawe makes a sound that lets me know when its up. That way i wont have to focus so much on text rather than that sound.
